The e-Impact - e-Freight Implementation Action project ended on June 2018 and its aim was developing a study for the pilot action on the standard market and technological e-Freigh infrastructures along the corridors of the centrale network - Atlantic, Mediterranean, Baltic, Adriatic in some core ports in Portugal, Italy and Poland.
As part of the project, 4 specific business cases were elaborated. Main logistic stakeholders were involved, as shippers, logistic services suppliers and authorities; they will benefit from the implementation of e-freight policies in terms of cost decreasing and logistic performances improvement thanks to the synchronization and optimization of intermodal transport functions.
